Spinners

Comedy

written by: Noelle Geiger
produced by: WonderStar Productions - Kim Waltrip

Spinners was original written as a low budget film that Kirk and I were going to make as our first adventure together.  We laid it all out; the script, the budget, the cast...all we needed was money.  Fortunately, a few produers were interested and so we were on our way to productionville...or, so we thought.

Rewrites turned into more rewrites until the story became a completely different story.  The focus went into a different direction and we found ourseles lost in development land.

Thankfully, Kim Waltrip of WonderSyar Productions, who's always been so kind and patient with me, asked if I would be interested in turning teh film into a comedy series.

And so, "Spinners", a series about a group of college students striving for their dreams while working as sign spinners, was born.

Kenji (Hayate) is on the hunt for his sister Mayumi (Mana Sakura), who has disappeared without a trace. He is a driven man however, so he is determined to find her and return her to safety, regardless of what that entails. His mastery of the martial arts won't hurt either, as he will face off with some nasty folks by the end.
