Michael Schulman

Michael Schulman

An award-winning actor and Tony Award nominated producer, Michael Shulman is co-founder of Starry Night Entertainment.

Emmy nominated Shulman grew up on stage having been plucked from school at age 9 to appear in the original cast of Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS (he sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" as his audition song). Following a two-year stint on Broadway as Gavroche in "Les Miserables," and in John Guare's "Four Baboons Adoring the Sun," and "Gardenia," Shulman turned to TV and film where recent credits include CBS's "Unforgettable," "Law & Order" (twice) Artie Baum in Fox's hit "Party of Five," "Someone Had to be Benny" (Emmy and CableAce nominee), M. Night Shyamalan's "Wide Awake," Jodie Foster's "Little Man Tate," and Craig Saavedra's "Sherman's Way." Shulman proudly recently returned to stage in the Off-Broadway play "White People" by J.T. Rogers.

A Yale graduate with a major in History of Art, Shulman left collegiate life with a keen desire to not only act, but also produce. He currently serves on the board of The Young Partners at The Public Theater and is a monthly volunteer for a special access program at MoMA for people with alzheimer's and dementia.

"Kirk Geiger, Tomm Voss, and Katarina Leigh Waters round out the main cast as the villain and his henchmen respectively. They are extremely sadistic and twisted, yet manage to be fun and campy at the same time."
